Man charged, Newry

An 18 year old man has been charged with Possession of Fireworks without a licence, Unlawfully exposing fireworks for sale, Unlawfully keeping fireworks for sale and Dishonestly using electricity. The man is charged to appear at Newry Court on the 18 November.
The charges are understood to be connected to the seizure of a large quantity of fireworks in Bridge Street, Newry on 22 October. As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
