Hit and run collision, Donaghmore Road, Dungannon

Police in Dungannon are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run road traffic collision on the Donaghmore Road in the early hours of this morning (Monday 26 October).
Shortly after 3:30am a black Mercedes car mounted the pavement and collided with two male pedestrians, before driving off. The men were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life threatening at this stage.
The Donaghmore road remains closed between McAleer’s bar and Anne Street junction.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information about the whereabouts of the Mercedes is asked to contact police at Dungannon on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information about crime can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
