Shooting incident, West Belfast

Police in West Belfast are appealing for information following a shooting incident in the Lenadoon Avenue area on the evening of Wednesday 14 October.
At 8.10pm police received a report of a shooting at a flat in Lenadoon Avenue. Police and Ambulance Services attended. A 28-year-old man sustained injuries to his stomach, hand and leg and was taken to hospital, although his condition is not thought to be life threatening at this time.
Police are appealing to anyone in the local area who witnessed the incident or has information in relation to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
