Armed robbery, Portadown Road, Armagh

Detectives in Armagh are appealing for information following an armed robbery in the Portadown Road area.
At approximately 10pm on Tuesday night, 2 September, two masked men, one armed with a knife and the other a baseball bat, entered a house, threatened and held the occupants (a man, woman and two children aged 11 and 12).
The men made off with a sum of cash.
The male occupant of the house was able to raise the alarm.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and observed the men around the house or making off or has any information in relation to this incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
