Man charged with sexual assault, North Belfast

Detectives from the Child Abuse Investigation team have charged a 70 year old man with two counts of sexual assault against children and one count of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child. The man is due to appear at Laganside Magistrates' Court on Wednesday morning, 9 September.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
It is understood that the charges relate to incidents that occurred in the North Belfast area on Friday 4 September this year.
