Robbery Central Way, Craigavon

Detectives in Lurgan are appealing for information following an incident at a roundabout on Central Way during the early hours of Friday morning, 11 September.
At approximately 12.30am a 20 year old female was driving along Central Way, approximately two roundabouts before Rushmere on the Lurgan side, when a male, with what is believed to have been a firearm in his possession, stepped out from bushes. The female stopped and got out of her car and the man demanded her bag. He took her bag and made off in the direction of Craigavon Lakes.
He is described as being approximately 18 years old, 5ft 6in to 5ft 7in tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black scarf up to his eyes, black hoody with the hood up, blue jeans and spoke with a local accent.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident or has information in relation to this to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
