Robbery off-licence, Park Avenue, Derry

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at an off-licence in Londonderry on Tuesday evening, 2 September. Shortly after 5.15pm staff at the premises in Park Avenue raised the alarm when three males armed with knives entered the shop demanding money. When this was refused they went behind the counter and took a number of bottles of alcohol before running off towards Northland Avenue.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or three males in the area around this time to contact them at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000. Anonymous information can also be passed to the Crimestoppers charity 0800 555 111.
Three males were arrested a short time later in the Ardglen area.
