Seizure of cannabis plants and arrests, Dervock and Portrush

Officers from Crime Team North, based in Coleraine, have seized a number of cannabis plants and a quantity of suspected cannabis following the planned search of houses in the Dervock area and Glenmanus area of Portrush on Saturday, 26 September.
A 30 year old female was arrested and later released on bail pending further enquiries.
A 28 year old man has been charged with possession of class B Drugs, cultivation of cannabis and possession of class B drugs with intent to supply to appear before North Antrim Magistrates' Court on 21 October.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
