Shooting incident, Glasveagh Drive, Dunmurry

Shortly after 10pm last night (Monday 31 August) four masked men entered a house in the Glasveagh Drive.  A 17 year old male sustained a gunshot wound to his ankle and an injury to his arm.  He is currently in hospital were his injuries are not though to be life threatening at this time.  No one else was present in the house at the time of the incident.  

Detectives are working to establish a motive for the shooting and are appealing for any with information to come forward.  Any one who witnessed the incident is asked to contact detectives at Lisburn on 0845 600 8000.  Information can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
