Stabbing Dunloy Gardens Newtownabbey

Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in the Dunloy Gardens area of Newtownabbey shortly after 5:30pm last night (Saturday 5 September).  

A 25 year old man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening at this stage.

A 33 year old man has been arrested for attempted murder and is currently helping police with their enquiries.  A second male aged 16 has also been arrested for disorderly behaviour and assault on police.
