Robbery, Ormeau Road, South Belfast

Detectives in South Belfast are appealing for information after a delivery driver was robbed of a quantity of cigarettes at a convenience store on the Ormeau Road on Thursday 3 September.
Shortly before 7pm two males got out of a blue coloured car and threatened the delivery driver with a hammer and an iron bar. They made off with several bales of cigarettes. A vehicle was later recovered in the Annadale area and has been taken away for examination.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information to contact Detectives at Musgrave Street 0845 600 8000. Anonymous information can also be passed to the Crimestoppers charity 0800 555 111.
