Stabbing, Church Street, Rostrevor

A 58 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Rostrevor last night, Sunday 20 September.
A 36 year old man sustained a stab wound to the chest after he and a friend became involved in an altercation with another man and a woman close to a carpark at Church Street at around 9.35pm.
The victim has been taken to hospital where it is believed he is in a serious but stable condition.
