Aggravated burglary, Antrim Road, Belfast

Detectives in North Belfast are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in the Antrim Road area on Wednesday 14 April.
Sometime between 9:45 and 10pm, two masked males, one of whom was armed with a hammer, entered a property in the area. It is believed the 45-year-old male occupant was assaulted with the hammer before being tied up. The culprits then searched the property before leaving with an undisclosed sum of cash from a wallet and two mobile telephones.
The male required hospital treatment for injuries which are believed to be minor at this stage.
One of the culprits was wearing a blue jacket with a white stripe, and the other was wearing a green jacket. They made off in the direction of Carlisle Circus.
