Armed robbery, Cavehill Road, Belfast

Detectives are investigating following an armed robbery at a shop on Cavehill Road in North Belfast on Wednesday 7 April.

A teenage male armed with a knife entered the shop shortly before 5.40pm.  He demanded money from the till and made off with a sum of cash.  A woman working in the shop at the time was left very shaken by the ordeal.

The robber is described as around 5' 5" in height of an average build with short dark hair and a pale complexion with freckles.  He was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit with a scarf over his face.
