Crossbow bolt fired at house, Belfast

Two woman have escaped injury after a crossbow bolt was fired through the kitchen window of a house in the Markets area on Saturday afternoon. The incident happened shortly before 4pm when a man appeared at the rear of the property in Stewart Street and fired the weapon at the window. The crossbow bolt has been recovered for further examination.
The suspect is described as being about 6’tall, slim build, wearing a white hooded top with the hood pulled up. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact detectives at Musgrave Street on 0845 600 8000.
