Drugs charges, Loughbrickland

A 35-year-old male has been charged with drugs offences following a planned police operation in County Down on Thursday 15 April.
The man is charged with possession of Class B drugs and possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply. He is charged to appear at Newry Magistrate's Court at 10am on Friday 16 April.
The charges follow the recovery of approximately £200,000 worth of herbal cannabis from a car at Dublin Road, Loughbrickland by officers from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch, assisted by Roads Policing Unit and Specialist Operations Branch on Thursday 15 April.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS
