Fatal collision victim named

The 51 year old man who died in hospital following the earlier road traffic collision on the Ballynahinch Road outside Carryduff has been named as Paddy Bailie from the Kircubbin area.  It is understood that Mr Bailie was the driver of a Ford Transit van involved in a collision with a Lexus car.

The Ballynahinch Road has since reopened. Investigations are continuing and Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them at Lisburn on 0845 600 8000.
