Stabbing incident Carlisle Road / Victoria Parade, North Belfast

Detectives in North Belfast are appealing for information following a stabbing in the Carlisle Road / Victoria Parade area.

Around 9pm on Friday, 16 April, police received a report of 17 year old male being assaulted and sustaining a stab wound to his neck.  The male was taken to hospital and his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

A 24 year old male has been arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
