Robbery and road traffic collision, Comber area

Detectives in C District are appealing for information following a number of incidents in the Comber and Killyleagh area on Sunday 11 April.
At approximately 1:15pm, police received a report of a theft at a filling station in the Newtownards Road area of Comber. The driver of a vehicle made off without paying for fuel.
At approximately 2:15pm, police received a report of a robbery at commerical premises in the Killinchy Road area of Comber. Two males entered the shop and demanded the contents of the till before making off in a vehicle driven by a third male.
At 2:20pm, police received a report of a one-vehicle road traffic collision in the Cross Street area of Killyleagh.
Police are treating the incidents as linked at this stage. Three people have been arrested and are currently helping police with their inquiries.
Detectives investigating the incidents are appealing to anyone who witnessed any of them to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information about crime can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
With regards to the road traffic collision, there are no reports of any serious injuries at this stage. Diversions are in place at the Comber Road, Killyleagh. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek an alternative route where possible.
