Security alert, Newtownhamilton

Police are currently attending a security alert in Newry Street area of Newtownhamilton following reports shortly before 2am that a device had been left in a silver coloured Peugeot car outside the police station.
Army Technical Officers have been tasked and are currently at the scene.
Up to 60 homes have currently been evacuated and local schools have made accommodation available to them.
