Assault charges, West Belfast

Two males, aged 39 and 44, are expected to appear at Belfast Magistrate's Court on Friday 13 August charged with attempted murder.

The charges are in connection with an incident in the Lenadoon Avenue area of West Belfast in the early hours of Thursday August 12. As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

A 23 year old female arrested was released on bail pending further enquiries.

A third male has been arrested.
