Hoax suspicious object, East Belfast

A suspicious object discovered at Campbell Park Avenue in East Belfast shortly after midnight on Monday 23 August was examined by Army Technical Officers and declared an elaborate hoax.
The object was discovered close to a house.
Approximately 20 people evacuated from their homes were able to return between 4am and 4.30am.
Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
