Street robbery Wellington Park Terrace South Belfast

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to a street robbery on Wellington Park Terrace in South Belfast during the early hours of Tuesday morning, 10 August.
An 18 year old man was walking in the area at around 3am when he was approached by an unknown male. This male knocked the teenager to the ground threatening him with a hammer and demanding money.
When it became apparent the victim was not carrying any cash, the robber struck him on the face with the hammer before making off with an I-pod.
The robber is described as being in his late 20s with ginger hair. He was wearing a blue Lonsdale jumper and blue jeans.
