Serious sexual assault, Bangor
Detectives from the PSNI's Rape Crime Unit are appealing for information following an allegation of a serious sexual assault on a female in the Bangor area.
The alleged assault took place in the early hours of Friday August 20th close to a fountain opposite the junction of Gray's Hill and Southwell Road.
The culprit is believed to be aged 19-20, 5ft 4ins to 5ft 7ins in height and of medium build with short blonde spikey hair. He was wearing dark blue denim jeans and a white and blue t-shirt.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and noticed any suspicious activity or anyone with other information to contact them on 02890 700305. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
