Armed Robbery, West Belfast
17 Feb 2010
Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery at the Turf Lodge Post Office on the Monagh Road this afternoon (Wednesday 17 February). Shortly after 3pm a male armed with a handgun entered the premises and demanded that staff handover cash. The man is described as approximately 6’ tall, wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, white trainers, light coloured gloves and a monkey hat.

One man, aged 45 years, was arrested by Police and is currently helping them with their enquiries.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed either incident or anyone with information to contact Detectives at Grosvenor Road on 0845 600 8000.
