Cash-in-transit robbery, Lurgan

Police are appealing for witnesses following the robbery of a cash in transit van close to commercial premises on the Kilvergan Road in Lurgan this afternoon, Friday 5 February.
Around 12.40pm one male, posing as a litter picker and wearing a hi-visibility jacket and a brown coloured baseball cap with a cream oval motif, approached the driver of the van as he alighted from the vehicle. The male, who produced what's thought to have been a hammer, ordered the driver to hand over cash before he made off from the scene in the direction of Derrymacash with a small sum of cash.
The driver was physically uninjured but very traumatised by his ordeal.
