Male charged with offences following security alert, North Belfast
13 Feb 2010
A 19 year old man has been charged with a total of 10 offences including aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, obstructing police and handling stolen goods.
He's due to appear at Laganside Magistrates Court on 11 March.
It's understood the charges follow a security alert on the Antrim Road in North Belfast on 11 February. The alert began after a vehicle had been noted acting suspiciously at the rear of Antrim Road police station. Five police officers were subsequently injured and two police vehicles damaged during a collision with the vehicle.
