Assault, Benburb Street, South Belfast

Police in South Belfast are appealing for information following an assault at a house in Benburb Street on Wednesday night, 3 February.
Two men were in the house at the time when six males forced their way in through the front door shortly after 10pm. The men, all masked and dressed in dark clothing, set upon one of the men hitting him with baseball bats and punching him before leaving the house. The victim, aged in his late 20s, received cuts and bruising to his face and head.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have been in Benburb Street or the surrounding area around this time or anyone with information to contact them at Musgrave Street on 0845 600 8000.
