Attempted burglary, Rigby Close, North Belfast

Detectives at Antrim Road are appealing for information following an attempted aggravated burglary in the Rigby Close area during the early hours of Thursday morning, 25 February.

A male, with his face covered by a scarf, arrived at the door of a property in the area around 5am. He attempted to push his way in but was prevented by the occupier. The male was armed with what is believed to have been an imitation handgun.

The culprit is described as between 5ft 8in and 5ft 10in tall and was wearing dark coloured trousers and a green and white scarf over his face.
