Organised Crime Branch drugs seizure charges

Eight men are to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court, Laganside on Tuesday 16 February charged with conspiracy to supply drugs and a variety of money laundering offences.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in connection with a Police Service of Northern Ireland Organised Crime Branch operation resulting in a £2 million drugs seizure in Kilkeel, Greater Belfast and Preston in England. A ninth person, a woman who was being questioned in England, was released pending report to the Public Prosecution Service.
