Robbery, Magherafelt

Detectives in Magherafelt, County Londonderry, are appealing for information about a robbery.

Shortly before 9.30am on Tuesday 23 February, a man was getting into his car at Mullaghbuoy Crescent when he was confronted by a robber armed with a knife.

The robber forced him to hand over an undisclosed sum of money and made off in a white car.

The victim was not injured. The robber was wearing a grey hooded top with a scarf around his mouth. Another man may have been with him.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the men or the white car in the area is asked to contact detectives in Magherafelt by calling 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
