Stabbing incident, Coalisland

A 21 year old man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing incident in the Maplebrook Hill area of Coalisland around teatime last night (Saturday 20 February).
Shortly before 6:00pm three men entered the property armed with a short handled kitchen type knife and a hurling bat. They attacked the man who was in an upstairs room before making off in a black coloured car.
The man remains in Craigavon hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening at this stage. The man received injuries to his upper chest and back.
