Two men charged after police officer injured, New Lodge Road, North Belfast

Police have charged two men with a number of offences following an incident where a police officer was injured in the New Lodge Road area on Wednesday, 3 February.
A 24 year old man has been charged with burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, grievous bodily harm with intent, driving with no insurance and driving whilst disqualified. A 36 year old man has been charged with burglary and aggravated vehicle taking.
The two men will appear before Downpatrick Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 4 February.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
