Armed robbery, Ladybrook Park, Belfast

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a shop at Ladybrook Park in West Belfast last night, Sunday 10 January.

At approximately 7.45pm two armed men entered the premises.  One male approached the counter while the other remained at the door.

The males made off with a sum of cash in a green Proton car.  This vehicle was later found partially burnt out in the Cloona Manor area of Dunmurry.

A male shop assistant was left shaken but physically uninjured.

The first male is described as wearing a black hooded jumper, a white scarf and black tracksuit bottoms with a grey stripe.

The second male is believed to have been wearing a grey hooded jumper, blue denim jeans and a dark coloured scarf.
