Burglary, Carnagh Park, Newry

Detectives are appealing for information about an incident in Newry.

At 9pm on Sunday (10 January) it was reported that three men had forced their way into the home of a woman aged in her 80s at Carnagh Park.

The woman was held down while her house was searched.  Details of any items stolen are still being established.

One of the men is described as around 5' 4" in height, approximately 25 years of age, of stout build and with dark curled medium-length hair.  He was wearing a grey duffel coat.

A second man is described as 6' tall, aged in his 30s and very thin.  He had short hair and a pale complexion.  He was wearing a duffle coat and gloves.

The woman sustained marks to her face as a result of being held down.
