Burglary, Patrician Park, Newry

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary at the home of an older person on Thursday night (21 January).
It's understood two men, wearing black hats and with their faces covered, entered the property at Patrician Park at around 8.50pm. The males searched the living room and kitchen of the property for around 20 minutes before removing a handbag belonging to a female resident. The pair then pulled the landline phone from the wall and made off.
The occupant, who's aged in her 70s, wasn't injured but was left shaken by the ordeal.
