Armed robbery, Crumlin Road, North Belfast

Police in North Belfast are investigating an armed robbery at a bookmakers shop on the Crumlin Road on Monday night, 4 January. At approximately 7pm two males wearing balaclavas, one of whom was carrying a handgun, entered the premises and demanded money. One of the males was wearing a dark coloured jacket and his accomplice was wearing a combat style jacket.

The men made off with cash and detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed males fitting this description in the area around this time to contact them at Tennent Street on 0845 600 8000.
