Armed robbery Winemark, Springfield Road

Police in West Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery of licensed premises in the Kellys Corner on the junction of the Whiterock road and the Springfield road last night (Sunday 17 January).

Around 9:20pm two unknown men with scarves over their faces and armed with hammers and crowbars entered the premises and demanded money from the staff.  They made off city wards with a sum of money and a small quantity of alcohol in a blue Vauxhall Corsa.  The car was found burnt out in the Springfield crescent area a short time later.
