Burglary, Portadown

Detectives are appealing for information following the burglary of an elderly lady’s home in the Ballyoran Park area of Portadown last night (Tuesday 5 January).
Shortly after 9:00pm two young unknown males entered the home of the 93 year old woman and while one stayed with her the other searched her bedroom and stole a small safe containing a large sum of money and some jewellery. The men left through the front door. The lady was unhurt but badly shaken by her ordeal. Both males are described as in their early twenties, around 5ft 7ins tall and wearing dark clothing.
