Theft of money, Newry

Detectives in Newry, County Down, are appealing for information following the theft of money from a vehicle in the town on Monday 11 January.
Sometime between 2.30pm and 3pm, a white paper bag containing cash was stolen from a vehicle parked in the Monaghan Street area. The culprit then made off in the direction of the Meadow area.
The culprit is described as being in his teens, 5ft 2ins tall and of thin build. He was wearing a cream hooded jumper, a black and red scarf, dark tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Detectives are investigating and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and noticed any suspicious activity or who has any other information to contact Newry police station on 0845 600 8000.
