Serious sexual assault, South Belfast

Detectives are investigating an allegation of a serious sexual assault in the University area of South Belfast early this morning. It is believed that a woman was assaulted by two men in an alleyway between Cromwell Road and Ireton Street between 12.30am and 1.30am.Police are appealing for anyone who was in this area at the time and may have any information to contact detectives in the Rape Crime Unit on 028 90 700 305.
