Distraction burglary Benraw Gardens West Belfast

Detectives in West Belfast are appealing for information following a distraction burglary in the Benraw Gardens area.
At approximately 2.15pm on Monday, 5 July, a male person was hired to undertake gardening duties. While carrying out the work it is believed a second person entered the house and a sum of cash was taken.
The male who carried out the work is described as being aged in his 30s, 5ft 9in tall, of medium build with a ginger/brown beard and dark hair. He spoke with a southern accent.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed anyone entering the house or has information in relation to this incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
