Security breached Parliament buildings Stormont

Police in East Belfast attended an incident in the Parliament Buildings, Stormont shortly after 3:45am this morning (Wed 21 July) following reports that a man had been seen to enter the grounds and leave a package at the front door of the building. Police removed the bag which contained two sticks and a bottle of non suspicious liquid. A search of the ground was carried out by police and Stormont security nothing untoward was found.
The male is described as wearing black t-shirt, grey trousers and straw hat and is believed to have headed towards Massey Ave area.
