Robbery, Toome

Detectives are appealing for information about a robbery in Toome, County Antrim.

Shortly after 9pm on Sunday 18 June it was reported that two men - one armed with a handgun, one armed with a baseball bat - had entered a petrol station at Main Street.

The men forced a male employee aged in his late teens into a store room, where his hands and feet were tied. He was not injured.

The thieves made their escape with cash and cigarettes in a small blue or dark-coloured van.

Both of the men wore balaclavas and dark clothing. The first was around 5'9 in height, aged in his early to mid-20s and of stocky build. The second was around 6ft tall and of thinner build.
