Serious Crime Branch operation, West Belfast

Police in Belfast have arrested five males and recovered two firearms after a car was stopped in the Falls Road area around 10pm this evening, Thurs 22 July. The five are currently assisting police with their enquiries at Antrim Serious Crime Suite.
This incident is believed to be linked to an earlier incident in the St James Road area. There are no further details at this stage.
