Serious crime arrests update, Londonderry

A 41-year-old old man arrested in Londonderry by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Serious Crime Branch investigating dissident republican activity has been charged with the possession of a prohibited item in contravention of the Firearms (NI) Order 2004.
The man is expected to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Monday 19 July.
As is normal procedure the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Three men aged 36, 38 and 44 years of age who were also arrested were released unconditionally.
