Serious road traffic collision, Newry

Police are appealing for information about a serious road traffic collision in Newry, County Down.
Shortly before 3pm on Sunday 18 July it was reported that three cars had been in collision on the Hilltown Road between Mayobridge and Hilltown.
A man aged in his 70s was taken to hospital with injuries which were understood to be critical.
A further six people were taken to hospital with injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening. The injured persons were the occupants of the three vehicles.
Police are particularly keen to speak with the occupants of an orange coloured Fiat Pinto car and a blue Peugeot car, both of which were seen in the area shortly before the collision.
