Armed robbery, Antrim

Detectives are appealing for information about a robbery in Antrim.

Shortly after 4pm on Saturday 5th June it was reported that two men had used a crowbar and a handgun to threaten staff at a petrol station within a retail park on the Ballymena Road.

The men stole cash before making their escape on foot.

Police, including the Police Helicopter, carried out a number of follow-up searches in the Antrim area, during which a number of items were seized. Police are currently following a number of lines of enquiry.
