Device explodes, Derry

Police in Derry are investigating an incident at Ardgrange in the Springtown Road area of the city.
Shortly before 12.15am on Tuesday 8 June, it was reported that a device had exploded outside the front door of a house.
Damage was caused to the door of the house. Initial enquiries suggest that the damage was caused by a pipe-bomb type device.
A family who were in the house were not injured.
ATO attended the scene and a number of people from three houses were evacuated until around 4.50am.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
