Hate crime-Cars attacked, Whiteabbey

Police are investigating after two cars were deliberately set alight in the Fernagh Avenue area of Whiteabbey at around 1.30 on Tuesday morning, 22nd June.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged and one house sustained scorch damage to the front.
At present these incidents are being treated as racially motivated hate crimes. Anyone with information is asked to contact police in Newtownabbey on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information about crime can be passed to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
